Cilantro Lime Marinade

I am trying to find ways to serve fish that everyone will like, and this sounds pretty darn tasty. Recipe courtesy of Oxygen magazine.

  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped

  • 1/2 red onion, chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 3 jalapenos, seeded

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 4 limes, sliced and seeded

  • Blend all of the ingredients together for 30 seconds. Then pour the mixture over white fish fillets and let them marinate in the fridge overnight in a covered container. Remove fish from the sauce and broil it in the oven for two minutes on each side. Serve immediately.

I think this would also be good on shrimp!!!
